In the last couple of years, we’ve been bombarded with countless apps and smart home systems it’s become extremely difficult to find the right solution for you. We decided to help.
We don’t pretend to have the perfect answer but you can use this article as a guide to help you make the right decision for you and your family. we’ve listed three products that are the most popular and will suite most scenarios.
We realize that there are many smart systems out there. We didn’t include any free apps or DIY systems as they are more easily hacked since they work on open code environments.
Whichever way you choose to go, it is highly recommended to have professionals do the install. This way you know you are protected enough and have a home behind the system so you get updated and service as needed.
this product also known as GoGoGate is owned by Remsol has two versions. A light version ($119) and the pro version ($199). Also, you can choose a kit for your garage door and a kit for your gate.
All versions provide voice control via Google Home, Amazon Alexa, Apple HomeKit and such, Automatic opening and closing the door and gate when you leave or arrive home (this is done with “GeoFancing” – see details in this article).
They also provide user management which allow you to view and control who can use the garage and when. The kit comes with cameras. There are options for indoor and outdoor cameras, which are weather protected. Both provide HD videos and LED lighting for night vision.

Fi Garage Door Opener
Senclo’s Fi Garage Door Opener is pricer but offers a touch screen and monitoring the garage temperature. They also have two versions – a light version for one garage door and without a touch screen.
The full version has all the features a the iSmartGate, touch screen and multiple garage support.
This popular system owned by The Chamberlain Group and will work only with Chamberlain and LiftMaster garage openers. Since these garage doors are extremely popular we decided to include them in this list.
Their app also runs on all platforms and offer similar features as the others, also comes with backup battery for emergency cases such as power failure.
